Check out Ed's Blog for the latest entry on 1st Corinthians 5. It's a study on the appropriate (and various inappropriate) responses of a church regarding an offending brother. There are times when church discipline becomes necessary. Paul guides the Corinthian Church toward a godly response to sin in its fellowship. As is often the case, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Nonetheless, the Corinth Church was eventually commended by Paul for its godly sorrow toward sin.

Jesus begins his public ministry with the proclamation to repent and believe. Does He, in fact, mean to place repentance before belief? So which comes first, repentance or belief/faith?
